Cardinal Bobby Land Jr. Celebrates Evergreen Mass Honoring Indigenous Humanity

"O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so strong and mighty, so prompt before the Throne of God: Remain ever green by Thy powerful intercession".............the Cardinal Archbishop's opening prayer during the Evergreen Mass in the Family Chapel this Sunday during evening vespers. During the celebration of this mass honoring Indigenous Humanity, the Cardinal stated that this mass of evergreen has deep meaning because it stays green even in winter. The evergreen is a symbol of life and hope: Hope for the Indigenous people of humanity in America and around the world. The sap of the tree is the gift of love, constant and enduring love. In spite of the ups and downs that life brings, our love and faith, but especially God's love remains lively and forever green. "As the evergreens, may our foliage remain green and functional throughout growing and changing seasons. May we and the Triumphant Saints produce green leaves throughout the entire year and seasons of life".............. the Cardinal Said.
